About Irmaan Initiative for Advocacy and Development
IIDA is a Somali-led civil society organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable and marginalized communities. Since its establishment in 2015, IIDA has been working across multiple sectors to deliver humanitarian assistance and sustainable development programs that address the root causes of poverty, inequality, and social exclusion
With its main office in Baidoa and operations across Southwest State, Jubbaland, and the Benadir region, IIDA supports internally displaced persons (IDPs), women, youth, and people with disabilities. Through integrated interventions, we provide immediate relief while building long-term resilience and empowering communities to shape their own future.
